Paranormal power

ParaNormal PROGRESSION

In the Gravity Goddess Game Series, over time, through Prophet's careful manipulations, the Gymnast develops a range of different Paranormal Powers. For the most part, these supernatural skills are only usable, when Exorcising. But there are a few Paranormal Powers that the Gymnast can use outside of Exorcism. Of these, Levitation and Telekinesis are the most important, because they are key to the Paranormal Progression that Prophet has in mind for The Chosen One.

Special Ability

The first step of Prophet's Agenda is to give the Gymnast a Special Ability, because this will require him to permanently alter the Gymnast's DNA, giving him a chance to also make genetic changes to enhance her psychic potential. And, with this enhancement, the Gymnast will be ready to acquire Levitation.

Levitation

If the Platform Mount is acquired (a secret gift from Prophet), Levitation becomes a usual activity for the Gymnast, being used for a variety of different reasons, including energizing Iridalite, to convert it into LeviSpheres or LeviPorters.
There are 3 different types of Levitation, in the Gravity Goddess Game Series: Emergency Levitation, Paranormal Levitation and LeviPowered Levitation.
Levitation (No Permanence)
Levitation (Permanence)
LeviPowered Levitation
Emergency Levitation
At first, Levitation is simply a part of the Mount's Emergency Systems, in case the rider falls from the Mount, while in open space. If the Gymnast has AutoLev in her Gym Bag, Levitation is automatically enabled, if the Gymnast falls from the Mount. Otherwise, the player has to manually use the Levitation button, to start Levitating. Being a part of Mount Systems, in this case, Levitation requires the Mount to be enabled. But Levitation can only be used, when the Gymnast is NOT mounted.
Paranormal Levitation
Paranormal Levitation is acquired, when the Gymnast receives Paranormal Buff from The Hidden Temple. In general, Paranormal Levitation works like Emergency Levitation, including AutoLev functioning. However, unlike Emergency Levitation, Paranormal Levitation is NOT connected to the Mount's Emergency Systems. Therefore, Paranormal Levitation can be used, regardless of the Mount's status. Unlike other Paranormal Powers, Paranormal Levitation can be used outside of The Abandoned Mining Station.
LeviPowered Levitation
Use a PowerCrystal to convert 1 LeviSphere and 1 LeviPorter into 1 - 3 LeviPower. During Exorcism, keep LeviPower in your Gym Bag, while Levitating over a Paranormal Power Circle, to increase Paranormal Power by 10%. LeviPower is usually consumed (destroyed), when used to increase Paranormal Power while Levitating over a Power Circle. But sometimes LeviPower is converted into Regulatum, an item used to automatically regulate the use of SuperPower.
Using Levitation
When the Mount or Paranormal Buff is enabled, and the Conditioning program is running, the Levitation button is automatically enabled. When a Protector is destroyed, there is a 90% chance that LongLev will be added to the Gym Bag. Keep LongLev in the Gym Bag, to automatically enable the LongLev button, when the Levitation button is enabled.
Without Permanence, unless LongLev is used to increase effect duration, Levitation only lasts for 15 seconds. When LongLev is used, Levitation duration is reset and doubled to 30 seconds.
When the Exorcist has Permanence, Levitation continues, until manually or automatically cancelled.
Having no cooldown, Levitation can be re-used immediately, after time out or cancellation.

Touch the Levitation button, to start Levitating. Touch button again, to manually cancel Levitation.
Touch the LongLev button (if available), to increase Levitation duration. LongLev button only displays, if LongLev is in the Gym Bag AND the Levitation button is enabled. LongLev can only be used, when the Exorcist is Levitating.
Due to Prophet's genetic tinkering, over time, using Levitation will gradually increase the Gymnast's Paranormal Power, eventually preparing her for Telekinesis, the next step in Prophet's Agenda.

Telekinesis

As planned by Prophet, if the Gymnast becomes Transfixed by the Mysterious Lights in the Abandoned Mining Station, there's a chance that she will acquire Telekinesis for 1 - 2 minutes, allowing her to gain access to The Hidden Temple.
If the Gymnast gains access to The Hidden Temple, she gains access to Temple Blessings, a range of Exorcist Relics, like SpiritShield, HolyWater, Translocator and SpiritCloak. But the most important Temple Blessing is Paranormal Buff, which gives the Exorcist Paranormal Levitation, TK Blast and allows the Exorcist to keep Telekinesis, Paranormal Levitation & TK Blast, indefinitely, so long as the Exorcist has at least one SpiritShield, HolyWater, Translocator or SpiritCloak.
Once acquired, Telekinesis can be used to MOVE or to BLAST more than 240 different objects in The Abandoned Mining Station. Once moved or blasted, objects remain where they are, meaning players are able to permanently alter the game world!
In the Gravity Goddess Game Series, objects can be MOVED with Telekinesis or BLASTED with TK Blast. But, like Levitation, Telekinesis works differently, during Exorcism than it does, when not Exorcising.
Telekinesis (No Permanence)
Telekinesis (Permanance)
Telekinetic Blast (Temple Entrance)
Exorcism Telekinesis (Exorcism Only)
Telekinesis
When not Exorcising, use the Telekinesis button, to enable TK Mode. Then touch 1 of more than 240 objects at The Abandoned Mining Station, to select that object for MOVING. Use the Mount UI (automatically enabled), to move the object in 6 directions or to rotate it to the right or left. Use Mount movement/turn speed functions, to set an appropriate movement and turn speed for the chosen object. Unless the user has Permanence, objects can only be moved by Telekinesis, for 15 seconds. With Permanence, there is no limit on how long an object can be under telekinetic control.
TK Blast
TK Blast cannot be used, during Exorcism. So, when not Exorcising, use the TK Blast button, to enable TK Blast Mode. Then touch 1 of more than 240 objects at The Abandoned Mining Station, to select that object for BLASTING. When touched, the selected object is instantly blasted to the left or to the right of the user. Without Permanence, the TK Blast button has to be re-touched, in order to re-use TK Blast. With Permanence, the user remains in TK Blast Mode, until the mode is manually cancelled by the user.
Exorcism TK
During Exorcism, Telekinesis is only used to respond to Demon Telekinesis. Therefore, it's called "Exorcism TK". When the Demon uses Demon Telekinesis, the Exorcist automatically moves into TK Mode, meaning the Exorcist simply has to touch one of his own 3 objects, to attempt to counter Demon Telekinesis. If the Exorcist uses the right object and has enough Hit Chance, his object will hit the Demon's object and, thereby, cancel the Demon's Telekinesis.
Hit Chance: If the Exorcist's Hit Chance is too low, his object will MISS the Demon's object, meaning his attempt to counter Demon Telekinesis FAILS!
Object Matching: If the Demon uses one of his crates, then the Exorcist can ONLY counter with his own crate. Using any of the other 2 Exorcist objects causes a Mismatch, meaning the attempt to counter Demon Telekinesis FAILS!
Using Telekinesis
Touch the Telekinesis button, to enter TK Mode. Touch button again, to manually cancel TK Mode.
Touch the TK Blast button, to enter TK Blast Mode. Touch button again, to manually cancel TK Blast Mode.
TK Distance
At first, the user is only able to telekinetically move or blast objects that are fairly close to the user. But, over time, as Paranormal Power grows, the user is able to move or blast objects that are farther and farther away.

Becoming an Exorcist

In the end, Prophet's plan depends upon the Gymnast acquiring and using Telekinesis, to gain access to The Hidden Temple and its many Blessings. Because then she'll be ready to become an Exorcist, the final step in his plan to increase her Paranormal Power. Therefore, if the Gymnast gains access to The Hidden Temple, Prophet has a plan to ensure she also gains access to Basic Exorcist Gear: GhostBuster, Leech, Exorcise & Spirit Cloak.
After that, it will only be a matter of awakening slumbering Bel'Zael, an ancient and powerful demon that has been dormant for more than a century. Then the Exorcisms will begin. And, every time an Exorcism is successfully finished, the Gymnast will get a boost in Paranormal Power. . .meaning the state of Permanence will only be a matter of time!

The State of Permanence

In the Gravity Goddess Game Series, for an Exorcist, Permanence is the ultimate state of Paranormal Power. But, even with Permanence, there are ways an Exorcist can continue to increase Paranormal Power. But raw Paranormal Power alone is not enough to acquire the ability to Defy Gravity, which requires a specific form of Paranormal Power called "Primal Force".
Therefore, Permanence is only the first major step towards achieving the ability to Defy Gravity!
